For most surgical cases we operate out of John Fawkner Hospital. We also operate (including robotic surgery) at Northpark, Warringal, Knox, Shepparton & Epworth hospitals.
*We often refer to Bodyfit physiotherapy where Dr Liam consults monthly as well as Icon Radiotherapy (whom consult out of Brunswick North Urology most days). Please make an appointment with them; their details are found on the below links.
PARKING
2 hour street parking is available within a short walk to the clinic. There is limited onsite parking at JFH.
REFERRALS
Brunswick North Urology is a specialist service, therefore you will need a GP referral to book an appointment. All patient referrals are important to us however, urgent referrals are given priority.
Email of all new referrals are preferable and our staff will contact you for an appointment.
Email of referral including all investigations are required prior to your first appointment.
REBATES
We can process your medicare rebate using our EFTPOS facility.
CONSULTATION FEES
Initial Consultation: Cost $250 Concession $190 Medicare Rebate $80.85
Review Consultation: Cost $150 Concession $ 90 Medicare Rebate $40.65
Post Operative Review: No charge up to 4 weeks. Standard fees apply thereafter (as above).
Telephone Consultation: As per 'Review Consultation' above. $90 fee if less than 5 minutes. Fee is Medicare Rebatable.
Bulk billing may apply if Dr Liam Kavanagh and Dr Deanne Soares contact review patients to briefly relay results. The patient will be advised if this is the case.
All consultations are eligible for a Medicare Rebate with a valid doctor’s referral and Medicare card. Our practice offers online Medicare claiming, which will processed at the time of your consultation. The Medicare Rebate will be paid directly into nominated bank account you have registered with Medicare.
To access Concession Rates, a valid aged pension card and health care card are required.
Full payment is required on the day of attendance, with the exception of DVA patients. We accept Cash, Credit and Eftpos cards.
PAYMENTS
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Master Card.

CANCELLATIONS
Should you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact the rooms as soon as practical, as this allows other patients to be scheduled into your appointment time. We understand situations can be outside of your control.
