Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, and is most commonly detected on PSA blood test. Prostate cancer behaves variably, and factors such as patients age, type of disease are all important in working out the best plan for each man.
In those needing surgery, robotic prostatectomy is an option, in which Dr Liam has particular expertise.
Urinary Problems
Difficulties with urinary frequency and urination effect both men and women. We can investigate for the cause of this problem, which is most commonly benign.

Vasectomy
Having a vasectomy is a common, safe and permanent form of contraception. It is a simple procedure involving division of the tubes (the vas deferens) that carry sperm from the testicles. Having a vasectomy does not affect sexual or erectile function.
Dr Liam performs this under general anaesthetic. Post vasectomy, alternate methods of contraception are required for three months before confirming sterility on semen analysis.
